Bishnu Hari Subedi received his Masters’ degree in Mathematics from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, M.Phil.degree in Mathematics from Kathmandu University, Nepal. The topic of his M.Phil. Dissertation is “A Study of Cohomology and Homology Groups of a Groups”. Also, he received his Ph.D. Degree in Mathematics from Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University, under the supervision of Associate Prof. Dr. Ajaya Singh and co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Prakash Muni Bajracharya. Topic of his Ph. D. Thesis is “Structure and Properties of Fatou, Julia, Escaping and Fast Escaping Sets of Holomorphic Semigroups”. Dr. Subedi has published a number of research papers in national and international journal of Mathematics. His research area is Complex Dynamics, in particular, Holomorphic Semigroup Dynamics.
Dr. Subedi has participated many international and national conferences, workshops and research schools of mathematics. He has visited Kerala School of Mathematics (2013), Kohzikode, Kerala Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology (2013), Cochin, Kerala, Jadavpur University (2014, 2016), Kolkata, IISER Pune (2017), HRI (2017), Allahabad, and ICTS Bangalore (2017) of India to take part in the conferences, workshops and research schools. He visited Institute of Mathematics of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (2013), Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Sciences (2015), Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam to take part in the CIMPA and SEAMS research schools. He also visited Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia to take part SEAMS school in “Module Theory and its Applications”. Dr. Subedi visited Centre de Recerca Matematica (CRM), Belaterra, Barcelona, Spain as a visiting researcher in 2020 under CIMPA-CARMIN fellowship for the program of “Low Dimensional Dynamical System and its Applications”. During his stay at CRM, he delivered a poster presentation, and a seminar talk of his findings among complex dynamics research group of CRM.
Dr. Subedi has got fellowships for his M.Phil. and Ph.D. study from the University Grants Commission, Nepal, and from Nepal Mathematical Society. He has been teaching Complex Analysis, Algebra and Topology courses in Masters Program.
